Hello, my dear ...
here's the new meditation
SIXTH DAY
"Witnessing in fidelity to the Scriptures"
"We felt like a fire in my heart, when he spoke to us along the way and explains the Bible? "(Lk 24, 32)
Isaiah 55, 10-11 This is also the word that goes forth from my mouth does not return to me without producing any effect Psalm 119 (118), 17-40 Open my eyes and behold the fruits of your wonderful Law 2 Timothy 3: 14-17 Everything that is written in the Bible is inspired by God Luke 24, 28-35 Jesus reveals the Scriptures to his disciples
Comment:
Christians discover God's word in a special way, through reading the Holy Scriptures and the sacraments. Faithful in listening to the proclamation of Sacred Scripture and reading, in prayer, the various books of the Bible, open their hearts and their minds to receive the true word of God Jesus promised His disciples that He would send His Spirit to let them fully understand the word of God, and to lead them into all truth.
Historically, Christians have been divided in reading and understanding of God's word more often used the Bible to emphasize their opposition to that to find paths to reconciliation. Fortunately, in recent times, has approached the Bible Christians, in the quest for unity. Joint Bible studies have become a common tool for growth together.
The journey of faith that we celebrate during this week of prayer for Christian unity is firmly rooted in listening to the Word of God shared in joint research to understand and to live it. The prophet Isaiah reminds us that the word of God proclaimed in power is really effective and operational, not return to God without fruit, but realizes the purpose for which it is sent. This message is repeated in the words addressed to Timothy, when he is led to believe in the efficacy of Scripture, which makes the faithful capable of good works. The psalm gives praise to the words and statutes of God and begs him to give us the understanding to keep the holy law with all my heart.
During this week we pray for the unity of all Christians to enter more deeply into the mystery of the wonderful revelation of God as it comes to us in Sacred Scripture. We raise our prayer to the Holy Spirit to make us better understand the word of God and direct us in our journey of faith until we all gathered around one table of the Lord.
